Lightning Safety
LightningDenver Bandits Lacrosse would like to remind players, parents, and coaches about the ever present threat of lightning. Should coaches, players, or spectators see lightning or hear thunder, coaches, and officials need to be notified immediately. Play cannot continue until 30 minutes have passed from the last rumble of thunder or bolt of lightning has been spotted.

US Lacrosse has stated that in the event of lightning, all players need to leave the field immediately. When possible, participants should seek shelter in an enclosed structure or in a vehicle with a hard-top. For more information, please see the Lightning Safety Fact Sheet and Lightning Guidelines for Lacrosse .
