My son can’t attend the Placement Weekend, where will he be placed?
Any competitive 6th-8th graders that couldn’t come during their scheduled time can come during our make-up session.
Any competitive player that cannot come this weekend needs to contact Amy at amy.lane@denverbandits.com prior to Feb. 9. With a coach’s recommendation, placement on a competitive team will be considered if player is available on Feb. 23 for pre-season scrimmages)
My son was placed on a competitive team after Placement Weekend. A player registered late and is a competitive player. Can my son be moved to an intermediate team to make room for the new player?
No, if the late registrant belongs on a competitive team, he will be placed there (on a space available basis) without bumping a player to the intermediate level.

Why is there a month delay between when teams are initially put together and when they are finalized?
Teams will be considered as “tentative” on Monday, February 12 (after Placement Weekend) and considered “final” on Monday, March 10. Denver Bandits has the final say on teams.
This time gives coaches a chance to practice with their teams and if they are a competitive team, to participate in scrimmages. If there is a player that has the skills to compete at a competitive level but didn’t do well during Placement Weekend, this time enables Denver Bandits to move the player to a more appropriate team.
